Our Story

Like many others, we had dreams of living far from Istanbul. We would leave our careers, which we considered very important, behind and live a minimalist life in an Aegean town. The fact that Mesude (aka Mesu) was from Bodrum more or less determined where we were headed, and Yiğit wasn't complaining much about this destination. And then the day came when we said; let's not postpone this dream any longer and build a life in Bodrum!

It all starts with one step. We laid out our dreams, secured family support, meticulously planned our budget, and put our escape from the city plan into action. It was April 15th, we made the decision, and in early August, we moved our home to Bodrum.

Our plan was to transform our family's tangerine orchard in Bitez into a breakfast spot. Between garden maintenance, kitchen preparations, painting tables and chairs, and planting flowers, on March 31st we set up the tables under the trees and welcomed our guests to our garden.

The story of Kuytu Bahçe, which brought you to this site, began with the dream of two crazy people like us. Now, our mother is making pastries, our father is squeezing oranges, our brother is serving the table, and our little son is spreading joy in the garden – we're quite busy, but if you could see us, you'd see how happy we are.

Our son, who joined us in 2020, is interested in bringing energy to our family and joy to our garden.
